R & R Quigley Technical Services was founded by Ray Quigley and his wife Robyn in May 1992.

Prior to starting the company, Ray spent 17 years with Haden Engineering in Sydney. In his role with Haden as Commissioning Section Manager, Ray was responsible for commissioning and contracts completion for all projects carried out by the branch.

One of Ray’s final projects with Haden saw him relocate to Newcastle in 1988 to supervise commissioning at the new John Hunter Hospital.

Ray’s involvement with hospital construction continued in the years to follow, with Morisset Hospital, Westmead Children’s Hospital and Maitland Hospital Expansion among the first projects to be completed while operating under the new R & R Quigley banner.

In February 2000, Ray’s son Lee joined the company as a technician. Lee has since gone on to take ownership of the company following Ray & Robyn’s retirement in 2017.

Lee’s involvement has seen the business expand to take on a range of new disciplines, most notably BMCS integration, duct pressure / leakage testing and essential services commissioning. The solid foundation set down by Ray, Robyn and Lee has resulted in R & R Quigley’s reputation as one of New South Wales’ leading commissioning firms.

The company continues to draw on its vast mechanical experience to provide accurate and cost-effective commissioning solutions to the construction & facilities management industries.
